We can get started on your case as soon as we have everything we need to get the ball rolling, such as a letter of Affidavit of Repossession and Certificate
of Title.
Once we have everything we need, we enter the information into our data base and begin working on your case the same day. All of our agents are properly trained and instructed to follow the strictest of guidelines for all recoveries.
Our agents start working the case immediately and usually will recover the
property within 48 hrs, depending on the location. Sometimes the
debtor has moved out of town or state. This will often take longer
and may require approval from you for the added expense.
When the property is located, the spotter contacts the office to notify us
that the property has been located. At this point, an agent will make
contact with the customer if allowed by you, and check to see if they are
willing to surrender the property. If you specify, "no contact with customer",
then we will recover the property and bring it to our gated, locked lot.
After that, we will do a condition report on the vehicle and get it to you
immediately. If we do an involuntary repossession and there are personal
belongings left in the vehicle, we will perform a written inventory and keep the
belongings in a safe secure location until the customer can pick them up. In some cases, we may even take the personal property to the customer C.O.D.
In some cases the customer is waiting for "The Repo Man" and is willing to give up the vehicle voluntarily .
In the case of "Involuntary Repossession", we can cut keys and reprogram the vehicle for a very affordable fee. Laser cut keys will be obtained from a dealership. In either case, you will be contacted for approval.
There are times when the customer has hidden the vehicle. We have a high success rate in dealing with this matter.
DM Recovery operates within the strictest security. Only authorized
agents of DM Recovery have access to the files. All files are kept in secure file cabinets.
All records are kept for 2 years unless otherwise specified by you.
